Poétesse
Words have always fascinated me; a whole lifetime would not suffice to know them all, all the more so as new ones are constantly being invented. I love their texture, their timbre, their multiple meanings, their hidden senses. They are playful companions, for they allow us the freedom to frolic with them. Words, like books, are our friends. It is they that have enabled me to manage my surges of emotion.
Thanks to my origins and my life journey, cultures and languages have influenced me, leaving traces in my writings.
I now live in a village where poetry is warmly welcomed and nurtured at school, among children from the age of six. In collaboration with the library and the school, I organise, on the occasion of World Poetry Day on 21 March, an evening of poetry readings around a chosen theme; in 2026, it was: “Dreaming in black and white and in colour : peace.”
In 2020, I had the pleasure of organising a poetic walk inspired by the charms of the village. In 2024, I published my first collection of poetry entitled Poing à la ligne (Fist to the line), and took part in two exhibitions combining painting and poetry.
In 2025, the collection En Art’Monie was born of an artistic encounter: that of a gaze and a voice, that of a painter and a poet. Before the paintings of Élisabeth Le Bé, words found their way in, carried by emotion,
the silence of forms, and the strength of colours. Since 1 April 2026, we have been exhibiting fourteen works by the artist Le Bé, along with my poems inspired by them. The opening was marked by a pictorial, poetic and musical wandering.

LE BÉ
Painter and Art Therapist (member of Foundation Taylor and the Europeen Academy of Arts, France)
Self-taught and driven by an insatiable curiosity, I draw from the kaleidoscope of emotions gathered along my journeys to create paintings that transcend the visible and invite the viewer into other dimensions of perception and emotion.
Since childhood, painting has been my native tongue – a language through which I reveal what words cannot express. Color and texture are the building blocks of my inner vocabulary.
Through a rich palette of colors and an array of techniques, I reinterpret, shaping through my own poetic lens. With bold pigments and tactile materials, I weave layers of texture, sculpting reliefs that allow the story to unfold – slowly, vividly – as it emerges from the canvas before my eyes.
